Hello! I hope things are good where you are. It’s time for my monthly newsletter, and what a month it’s been!
Firstly, thank you to everyone who picked up a copy of one of my books or told others about the offer I had running during World Book Day week at the start of March. All three books had nice boosts up the charts and I’m very grateful for it. I hope anyone reading them enjoys the adventures!

Podcast!
As per last month’s update, I got to take part in my first ever podcast interview. It was good fun. We talk books, inspiration, publishing etc. and geek out a little on the way! It’s episode 10 of Shivers and Spines, hosted by Matthew Massey, and you can find it on Spotify here.
Gosport Comic Con
I attended my first event of 2026 on Saturday 28th March: Gosport Comic Con! It was a lovely day. Thank you to everyone that stopped by to talk books, as well as to all who purchased a book. It really helped make the day a goodun! Currently, this is the only Comic Con I’m likely to exhibit at this year, although I do have one more convention in August and lots of markets. I’ve updated my events page (adding some further events for Lymington and Guildford), so you can see more here.

Fyn Carter 3
I’ve had a few distractions weighing on my mind in recent times. This means I’ve been slower than I’d like on writing new words, but I think it’s important that when these things happen, we take the time we need to work things out. I’ve spent quite a bit of time working on various distractions (some life, some admin etc.), and I’m pleased that I did. New words are happening again, and (as before), I’m really enjoying writing the story which continues to surprise me along the way. It’s too soon for big details, but subscribers to/readers of my newsletter will be the first to know when there’s a bigger reveal!
Kindle Monthly Deal
Fyn Carter and the Agents of Eromlos (Fyn Carter 1) has been selected by Amazon to be part of their Kindle Monthly Deals! This means in the UK it will be 99p on Kindle throughout April. Please spread the word 🙂

That’s about it for now. Please let me know if you have anything you’d like me to cover in future newsletters. Maybe I can make a feature out of it!
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support.
Ian 🙂
