I can’t believe we’re already coming to the end of April. I hope you’ve had a good month!
In this month’s blog, I’m sharing an exclusive early reveal for Fyn Carter 3 (that’s right – just for you!), but before I come to that, I wanted to start off by saying thank you for subscribing to and reading my blogs each month. I’m always really appreciative of the support I receive on my writing journey. Engagement with the bookish community is a really brilliant thing, and it’s one of the things I love about what I do. Also, if you’re new here – welcome!
Fyn Carter 3
Believe it or not, next month, Fyn Carter and the Agents of Eromlos turns two years old (on 9th May), and Fyn Carter and the Legends from Atlantis turns one (on 8th May). This means, I will want to do a bit of a celebratory post on social media soon, but I want to do the reveal part here first (and early) as a way of saying thanks for subscribing. To be clear, I’m still working on the story and have a long way to go with it. However, I have a title, so I figured I’ll give you an early title reveal! Let’s keep it between us for now, but… are you ready?
Fyn Carter 3 will be called…
Eek! There we go! I’m really excited for the title and hope you love it as much as I do. Those of you who have read Fyn 1 and Fyn 2 might have an inkling of what it refers to. Either way, it will be a while before I’m ready to reveal more, but I’m really looking forward to when I do!
Other updates
I’ve had a quieter month than usual. There’s been a lot of life stuff happening (as per this post on social media from yesterday), but I’m looking after myself and doing alright. Sometimes life stuff happens, and I believe it’s important to take the time we need to when we need it. I’ll be back to posting regular bookish content on my socials soon!
Kindle Monthly Deal
Fyn Carter and the Agents of Eromlos is one of Amazon’s Kindle Monthly Deals in the UK throughout April. That means there’s a day and a bit left of it being on offer at £0.99 on Kindle. You can see more on that here.
Events
My 2026 events page has had a few little tweaks recently. The next large-scale event for me is Canterbury Gaming Convention in August. It’s the only convention I have planned for the rest of this year, although there are plenty of markets etc. on the horizon as well as a few things which might be added later.
TikTok 1,000
I recently reached 1,000 followers on my TikTok account. This is largely thanks to the BookTok community who are awesome. I’m very grateful for this milestone. At the start of the year I was doubting if TikTok was the place for me, but then I discovered the BookTok community and everything changed. Big thanks to you all!
